Services Union meets with the CEO to discuss the BOM redesign & 50c fares

Our Union met with Kat Stapelton, Neil Backer and Bec Munn today seeking the data that’s driving the proposed BOM redesign, including the 50c fare impacts.

The data included OTR performance, patronage, train movements, customer satisfaction, station configuration and assisted boarding, but is now less reliable when the 50c fares increase patronage across the network!

Neil Backer indicated they need time to assess this new data and consult further with our Union and stakeholders next week. Furthermore, Station Customer Service management will be providing a written update to staff regarding the BOM consultation in the coming days.

The Services Union will always pursue the best rosters possible for our station members to address work life balance, provide LDOs and consistent work patterns.

Lastly if you know someone who is not yet a member of our Union and is concerned by BOM consultation send them this email, so they can join https://www.theservicesunion.com.au/tsu/join
