Your Wages and Conditions at Ipswich City Council

The Services Union knows how hard you work every day at Ipswich City Council to deliver vital frontline services to the community.

We met with the Council yesterday to progress negotiations for your new Certified Agreement. Most parties have now tabled and raised their respective claims.  We had an in-depth discussion on one of our claims yesterday which is to relax the use of personal (sick) leave so it can be used for preventative health measures rather than using annual leave. This would benefit the Council as it may result in a reduction of sick leave usage and lead to a more productive workplace.

We will meet again on 24 July where we will speak to other claims and hope to receive a response to our Log of Claims from the Council.

If you work with a colleague who wants to improve their wages and conditions and is not yet a member of our Union, show them how easy it is to join today at www.theservicesunion.com.au/tsu/join
